Outdoor Awards has played an important role and enjoyed a long History in the European OutDoor show. Within the last few years the European Outdoor Award comes to the Number One of worldwide watched awards in the Outdoor industry. The awarding on the first day of the Outdoor fair is the highlight in the whole fair.

 

The Award has developed into an important marketing tool. Winning a silver or Gold award turns to be the most helpful sales support for all brands. And for young designers this can be the start in a great career.

 

However creative Chinese or other Asian brands hardly attended the European Award in the past years. In this situation the Chinese Industry pushes the Asia Outdoor Trade Show to create the Asia Outdoor Industry Award in 2010.

 

All exhibitors of Asia Outdoor as well as companies don’t attend Asia Outdoor have equal opportunity to participate in Asia Outdoor Industry Award. The 2nd Asia Outdoor Industry Award will be supported by Messe Friedrichshafen and organized in cooperation with Jiangsu Industrial Design Association.

The key to building the successful image of the European Awards is the seriousness of the jury.

 

Therefore the jury of the 3rd Asia Outdoor Industry Award will select 2 famous Design experts from the Jiangsu Industrial Design Association and 6 outdoor and mountaineering experts; Knut Jaeger in product development will also attend the jury panel as the 9th expert of the team.

 

To guarantee the absolute neutrality, no employees of the industry can be a member in the jury panel. All members of the jury are obliged to the most severe confidentiality.

The members of the jury will judge the products by using a point system. After the pre-selection every member will vote according to different criterias and the result finds itself out from the mix of all 9 results.

 

Founded in December 1994, JIANGSU INDUSTRIAL DESIGN ASSOCIATION is a non-profit organization formed by institutions and individuals that are engaged in industrial design. As a strong power in the development of industrial design in Jiangsu province, the association is affiliated to Nanjing University of Science and Technology, with 35 member organizations and individual members over 1,000.

 

 

All exhibitors at the Asia Outdoor 2012 in Nanjing as well as non exhibitors are eligible to compete for the Asia Outdoor Industry Award 2012.

 

This includes: Brand, ODM manufacturers, designers, importers and specialist Dealers.

 

Entries products should show us a particularly high level of innovation and quality, point to new trends, and have been on the market for less than two year prior to the date of the trade show. Products over 24 months on the market but were developed further within the last 24 months get the right for attend the award. The number of products per company or participant is not limited.

 

The products submitted cannot violate the patent and protective rights of other parties. The organizer assumes no liability for the product origin and reserves the right to withdraw or cancel the award if the violation is confirmed.

 

Asia Outdoor Industry Award will include Gold, Silver, Eco and Women Product Award in 2012. The winners of Eco and Women Product Award will be selected from Gold and Silver winners.

 

All winner products will be displayed and decorated for free at the fairgound during Asia Outdoor 2012.

Brand representative will be invite to attend awarding ceremony.

All prize winners get a certificate of Asia Outdoor Industry Award 2012.

This certificate is effective as long as the product is on the market.

The winner can apply the logo of Asia Outdoor Industry Award 2012 to create his advertisement and product marketing.

 

All winner will be informed on July 24, two days in advance of the fair.

On the first day of the Asia Outdoor Trade Show, July 26, the Asia Outdoor Jury will open the secret and celebrate with industry, dealer, press and TV .

 

Asia Outdoor will promote all winners in: press releases, TV-documentation, internet releases, the international homepage.

 

The promotion of Asia Outdoor Industry Award 2011 will be started from March 1 on internet's outdoor channel, press release and cooperated magazines.

 

The original products including registration forms must reach the organizer before July 15th, 2012.

 

RMB 500 for each product from exhibitors of the Asia Outdoor 2012.

RMB 1200 for non Asia OutDoor exhibitors 2012.
